Sunday, June 24th there was a tragic road accident, which left three people dead. The paramedics who work with ambulance company that arrived to the scene, the Distress Alert, declared the three people dead, except one the diseased, a woman, was not actually dead.
She was take to the Carletonville morgue, in Gauteng Province, after being declared dead by the paramedics. However, when the morgue work returned to check on the body inside the fridge, he discovered that the woman was still breathing.
She has since been moved from the morgue and taken to a hospital east of Johannesburg. Her family members are now demanding answers from the Distress Alert ambulance company.
“As a family we won’t talk about this unless the police, paramedics, and the mortuary officials who were involved are present. We need answers,” said one of the family member during an interview with the BBC.
“The issue is that we need answers, that’s all we want and we don’t have any clarity now.”
