I am not quite sure if the dust has completely settled on the Microsoft’s much-hyped release of the Surface Book, on October 6th. A 13.5 inched laptop-cum-tablet complete with a stylus pen and a detachable keyboard. This week will be Apple’s turn in the spotlight as the company launches the much anticipated biggest iPad yet, the iPad Pro.
If you can remember, Microsoft threw some jabs at Apple last month when it said its new Surface Book was twice as fast as Apple’s MacBook Pro. We since established that was a lie, in the sense that the Surface Book is only slightly faster than the MacBook Pro in regards to GPU performance only. That is only true for the MacBook Pro 13-inch model only and not the 15-inch model, which is a ‘mammoth’ machine in its own rights and far much superior to the Surface Book.
