Andela, the tech company that provides training to software developers across Kenya and later hires them to work across big tech companies across the globe, has for the last two months been focusing their recruitment in Kenya outside the capital Nairobi.
In a campaign dubbed, Andela Tech-ing Over, the Kenyan wing of Andela is looking for their next cohort of recruits in counties outside Nairobi such as Mombasa, Kisumu, Eldoret, and Nakuru. Andela Kenya says it has arranged a series of Andela Tech-ing Over events across different counties to widen its outreach further and attract more young talents.
Successful applicants into the program will get fulltime software developer roles. Over the course of this year, Andela Kenya has hired more than 100 developers, making the country home to over 300 employees since its inception in the country back in June 2015.
