Applications To Challenge Cup 2016 Startups Competition Now Open

The international business incubator and seed funder, 1776, is currently receiving applications to its global startups competition, the Challenge Cup. The Challenge Cup is a global tournament bringing the best of the best of startups from across the globe to compete for cash prizes and investments.

For the African continent, the Challenge Cup will be presented to startups through a partnership between 1776 and the Revolution and the Global Entrepreneurship Week. The Challenge Cup competition will take place in three elimination stages: Local, Regional and Global finals.

The Local competitions will take place in the following countries in Africa; Uganda, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Morocco, South Africa and Kenya. Startups that emerge winner in the Local competition will advance to the Regional competitions that will take place on Feb 18th, 2016 at the iHub in Nairobi, Kenya.
