The association of carmakers in South Africa on Friday announced that its members have reached an agreement to invest at least 40 billion rands ($3 billion) in car manufacturing operations in the country.
This investment will be spread out over the course of the next five years. The said association of car manufacturers in South Africa include Nissan, Isuzu, and Volkswagen. The members of the association made this announcement during their recent investment conference.
