Yesterday, Google unveiled a revolutionary innovation that will appeal best for people who for one reason or the other cannot read their news update. The innovation is an AI-driven news feed that reads aloud the news like a radio.
Google is rolling out the feature on smart speakers, and the users will automatically get news that interests them thanks to the artificial intelligence that keeps track of their interests. To make the user experience richer, Google has partnered with several major news outlets to deliver their audio feeds just like they do on the smartphone news feed.
In a blog post, Google Product Manager, Liz Gannes said, “This new experience will bring you an audio news playlist assembled in that moment, for you. It starts with a briefing of top stories and updates on topics you care about and extends into longer-form content that dives deeper into more stories.”
