Google’s keyboard Gboard now lets you doodle your Emoji and autocomplete phrases

Gboard, one of the finest keyboard currently out there has just received an update to make it even more amazing. Search engine giant Google has released an update for the keyboard bringing in a bunch of new features to make your on-screen typing all the more intuitive and fun.

The most noteworthy feature coming with the update is, you can now draw an emoji. Before you get too excited, by drawing your emoji, this means you can scribble your emoji and Gboard will recognize the emoji you want. In a nutshell, this feature allows you to search for a particular emoji by simply scribbling the emoji.

This feature is probably built on Google’s AutoDraw technology introduced a few months ago. The AutoDraw technology turns your doodles into clip arts.

Another new feature that comes with the update is that now Gboard can now (at least attempt to) autocomplete your next phrase, as opposed to just trying to autocomplete only the next word. It autocompletes a couple of next possible words; a phrase of words.
