HiiL’s Innovating Justice Event Coming To Nairobi | April 21st

HiiL Innovating Justice in partnership with the Strathmore Law School is set to host Innovating Justice event in Kenya’s capital Nairobi.

This event will be geared towards gauging East Africa’s readiness for Justice Technology. The event is said to bring together stakeholders in both the Justices and Technology sectors from across the East African region. The attendees are expected to deliberate on the justice eco-system and find ways technology can be adapted to overcome certain hurdles in the implementation of justice.

Already, there have been previous debates questioning the availability and accessibility of justice to the average Kenyan citizen. The debates also questioned the transparency of some of the justice system problems. The venue for the Nairobi Innovating Justice will be at the Strathmore Law School premises on April 21st, 2016.

Evelyne Wangui, a liaison agent for HiiL East Africa, talked about the need for emphasis on promoting justice across all sectors.
