There has been an outcry from Windows 10 users who (either let) or had their PCs upgrade to the Windows 10 October 2018 Update. This latest version of Windows was deleting files on users’ computers on its own. The damn thing went rogue, just deleting things without the knowledge and/or consent of the users.
We can see how that can be a problem for everybody. One minute you leave a file or folder on your computer, the next minute it is gone. Users have taken to Microsoft’s support site to air their frustrations and disappointed on this weird behavior by the Windows 10 October 2018 Update.
Microsoft has now addressed the matter on the support site, saying they have paused further updates. Until they resolve the bug that is causing the latest version of Windows 10 delete files on users’ PCs. They have also instructed users who have already downloaded the OS, not to install it. At least not now!
