PEBL is a company based in Namibia and produces high-tech Central Processing Units (CPUs). The company has successfully secured funding from Germany’s GreenTech Capital. The company reports that the fund will go towards, expanding the CPUs footprint across the globe.
The company was founded in 2015 and makes tailor-made CPUs that addresses the unique needs a variety of users. They make CPUs for variety of uses ranging from IoT, home security, media, and business computing.
The company’s CPUs are high-performing small form-factor computers that can be configured to meet the unique needs of customers.
“As more and more small and medium-sized enterprizes (SMEs) are developing in Africa, their technology needs are growing. Yet despite this growth, the penetration of computers in Africa is still very low, with only three computers for every one thousand Africans.
