#DeleteFacebook campaign. You might have seen it and dismissed it as another vague attempt to try and pin down a might company such as Facebook that is probably going to burn out sooner than you can say soon. Well, Playboy has just deleted its Facebook accounts. All thanks to that campaign.
For Mark Zuckerberg and team, s#$t just hit the fan. Time to go on damage control gear. As Playboy issued a press statement on Tuesday night announcing it has officially withdrawn from using Facebook.
All the Facebook accounts operated by Playboy Enterprises have been deactivated, leaving over 25 million followers out in the cold. This news comes hot on the heels of a recent order by Elon Musk instructing the deletion of Tesla and Space X Facebook Pages.
“The recent news about Facebook’s alleged mismanagement of users’ data has solidified our decision to suspend our activity on the platform at this time.
