Sony has announced the release of an update to its PlayStation 4 that can allow gamers play exclusive PS4 games like the Bloodborne remotely on PC or Mac. As it works out, the update lets you stream PS4 content to your computer, just like Xbox One and Windows 10.
This update, part of the 3.50 update, is rolling out in beta and comes packed with a number of updates including improved social gaming experience. It will roll out to all PS4 devices sometime later in the year.
The console gaming industry is a multi-billion dollar industry and Sony being a major player in that market, wants to secure its grip on the market. Already, this feature being rolled out on PS4 console is already available on Microsoft’s Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs. It was only a matter of time before Sony did something similar.
