“We are working with relevant regulatory bodies to investigate the recently reported cases involving the Galaxy Note 7. For the benefit of consumer’s safety, we stopped sales and exchanges of the Galaxy Note 7 and have consequently decided to stop production.” – Statement by Samsung.
Samsung remains committed to working diligently with appropriate regulatory authorities to take all necessary steps to resolve the situation. Consumers with either an original Galaxy Note 7 or replacement Galaxy Note 7 are advised to power down and stop using the device and take advantage of the remedies available at out Samsung Authorized Service Centers.
Although the Galaxy Note 7 has not been released in Nigeria, the current Galaxy Note 7 users, despite the original place of purchase are kindly advice to visit the nearest Samsung Authorized Service Center for immediate assistance.
Customers are advice to return their Galaxy note 7 to Samsung Authorized Service Centers and be guided with available options. Those who have already returned their Galaxy Note 7 will also be contacted from Samsung for their options.
