In a little over a month’s time. 15 best and exceptional startups from across Africa will converge at Lagos, Nigeria where they will be going at it head-to-head competing against each other at the Startup Battlefield Africa 2018.
Attendees to the event will get to see the founders of the best early-stage startups in Africa get crowned the winner and go forth to launch their products on a global stage. These startups will be on the fast lane to securing cash injection into their business, important networks’ attention, and of course the bragging rights.
How the Startup Battlefield plays out
The Startup Battlefield kicks off with three preliminary rounds with each round pitting fives startups against each other. Each startup will get six minutes, during which its team will pitch and do live demos before a panel of judges. The panelist will include leading tech founders and VCs. The judges will have six minutes for thorough questioning.
