TechCrunch is pulling a first in sub-Saharan Africa, hosting its Startup Battlefield in Nairobi, Kenya on October 11, 2017.
The competition will be looking to fish out the best of the best innovators, inventors, makers, founders, and technical entrepreneurs the sub-Saharan Africa has to offer.
Facebook is sponsoring the Startup Battlefield Africa 2017, and all startups from across the continent are invited to apply. The first place winner will walk home with $25,000 in equity funding plus an all-expense paid trip for two to the Battlefield competition at TechCrunch flagship startup championship, the Disrupt SF 2018 2018 in San Francisco, USA.
