In October 2016, the Cupertino-based tech giant Apple released the thinnest and lightest MacBook Pro yet. This laptop also debuted Apple’s first computer with the Touch Bar and Touch ID. It came with 6th Gen Quad-Core Processors with 2.3 times the graphics processors of the previous models, four Thunderbolt 3 ports, and a super-fast SSD.
The 2016-realeased 15-inch Pro has the Touch Bar with Touch ID and powered by a 2.6GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 chip with Turbo Boost that can bump up the speeds to 3.5GHZ. It also has 16GB RAM and 256GB of flash storage.
The 13-inch version comes with 2.0GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 chip and a Turbo Boost that can push that speed up to 3.1GHz. That processing power is backed by 8GB RAM and 256GB flash storage. The 13-inch version that comes with the TouchBar and Touch ID has a 2.9GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 Chip and a Turbo Boost that can bump it up to speeds of 3.3GHz.
